These filters sit under the aquarium. They pretty much work the same way as an outside power filter. They pull water in, but through a tubing down to the canister. It goes through the filter media. Then puts the water back into the tank. But with these, you can put the output where ever you want. You can even make it jet the water out. And even in multiple directions. This is a mechanical, chemical, and biological filter. |
